Conflict: a disagreement in which the parties involved perceive a threat to their needs, interests or values

Conflict is not necessarily a bad thing. It brings problems out in the open and forces individuals to face the fact that their own point of view isn’t the only one possible.

Whether the final outcome is a positive path forward or a permanent rift depends on whether the opportunity for resolution is seized or avoided.

In this evening’s interactive networking exercise,  we’ll explore:

•    the best ways to manage challenging relationships
•    how the power balance affects your perceived options
•    which management styles are most successful in settling of disputes
